Shortly after that, as a way to keep in touch with antique car
enthusiasts in Montana, the Little International Meet was started.
The Southern Alberta Antique and Classic Automobile Club (SAACAC
for short) and clubs in Montana starting getting together the first
weekend in June alternating between the Shelby, Montana area and
Penrose Ranch (just east of Writing-on-Stone Park) in Alberta. That
still happens each June except the locations and the weekend are
sometimes different and it is usually just a one-day get-together now.
It is still a potluck meal arranged by the host though. The big
difference now is the need to have a passport to cross the border.
That limits who attends.
