Southern Alberta An.que and Classic Automobile Club (SAACAC)

        The objec5ves of the society are:
        • To bring together people interested in restoring, preserving, and maintaining vintage and special interest
           motor vehicles, and things associated with them.
        • To support and promote the Provincial and Na5onal specialty vehicle associa5ons such as the Specialty Vehicle
           Associa5on of Alberta (SVAA) and the Na5onal Associa5on of Automobile Clubs of Canada.
        • To encourage and support fellowship among members and their families in social as well as auto interests.
        • To encourage and support par5cipa5on in Club events and other tours and events that foster interest in
           vintage and special interest vehicles, the history of them and of transporta5on in general.
        • To increase awareness of the Southern Alberta An5que and Classic Automobile Club in communi5es in
           Southern Alberta.

                                           September 2025 President’s Message

        Summer has come to an end and it has been a busy summer with our club events and all the car shows that
        we have now. It has been good to see our members support these events, especially going to the seniors
        homes to show our an5que cars which bring back happy memories to those that see them. Our other social
        events have been well supported as well: brunches, lunches and barbecues. With so much to do, it has been
        hard to decide what to agend.  For me I enjoy driving and talking to people who enjoy our an5que cars. This
        gives me a lot of pleasure especially when I talk to the younger genera5on of classic car owners. I let them sit
        in the car and talk to them about the car. Their energy and enthusiasm make it all worthwhile. I am thinking of
        ways in which the club can par5cipate more with our youth. If you have any ideas please let me know.
        I am looking forward to seeing you all back at our regular mee5ngs star5ng September 2nd.
        Don't forget to bring your cherished an5que car to show off and possibly win $25!
