June 3, 2025 SAACAC Meeting

       Number of Members Present 36
       Mee5ng called to order at 7:30 pm by President Geoff Minors
       Introduc5ons:  Welcome  - 3 guests : Ray Perron, Bruce Milne, Cory Stephens

       1.  Minutes of May 26, 2025 monthly mee5ng
       Barb Yakubowski noted that that Jerry DeJong made the mo5on to
       adjourn the May 6 mee5ng.
       Mo5on to accept the minutes as corrected was made by David Kusick.
       Seconded by Fran Blackwood.  Carried.

       2.  Treasurer’s Report - Ritchie Whitehead moved acceptance
       of his report.
       Seconded by Randy Ross.  Carried.

       3.  Commigee Reports
       3(a)  Cards and Flowers  - Flowers were sent to Maria Buckman

       3(b)  Tours & Events -  Dwayne Sturm reported the commigee
       has met and all events are posted in the Clunker.
       Dick Brower reminded the members to contact him or Shirley if
       planning to agend the Chicken Pot Luck on Saturday, June 7
       at the Brower home.
       Dwayne reported that the tour to the Lethbridge Armouries was
       very successful.  The Sea Cadets enjoyed viewing the
       members’ classic cars.

       3© Editors Report - Judy noted there was a correc5on for the
       September fall mee5ng.  The mee5ng is  Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025.

       3(d)  Membership - Fran Blackwood  reported that 2 new members
       have joined the club.  Welcome Cory Stephens and Lee Ann.
       There now 78 members and 144 family members.

       3(e)  Swap Meet - Randy Ross reported that the contract for
       February 14, 2026 has been signed with the Lethbridge Agri Hub.

       3(e)  SVAA Report - Alan Cooper reported that the provincial
       associa5on  has  placed a hold on dona5ng funds for  the
       “Adopt a Shop” program.

       4.  Old Business - Neil Sulkers reported that work has begun
       on the restora5on of the ambulance.  Volunteers can contact
       Neil for confirma5on of 5mes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

       5.  New Business  - Fran Blackwood made a mo5on to purchase
        a portable microphone.  Seconded by Dave  Kusick.  Carried.

       6.  Correspondence - Totem Times

       Winner of the car prize - Herb Dyck
